Adopt a Granny
In Eastern Europe, C.I.S. and Africa many lonely, poor elderly people are struggling every day to survive. Many have no income at all. Many who have a pension do not have enough to survive. Through the "Adopt a Granny" program, the poorest elderly receive material and financial support, and medical care, through the local churches.
People from the churches visit the elderly, and they themselves have the possibility to meet other elderly people. They start to live again!
Sponsor a Child
Many children worldwide are suffering from extreme poverty, thus having no hope for a good future.
In the Dorcas Aid Child Sponsorship program thousands of the poorest children have the possibility of breaking loose from the circle of poverty.
They receive everything they need to finish proper education and grow up to strong and healthy adults in their society.
Family Care
Many families in Eastern Europe live in deep poverty, due to unemployment, illness, handicaps. In the Family Care program many of the poorest families receive support through the local churches. The support and the contact with the churches is a great relief and encouragement to them. Our partners can even help part of the families to find income of their own, so that they start to support themselves.
